Raindrop therapy is the sequential application of 9 of the highest quality essential oils by Young Living dropped like rain from a height of 6 inches along the spine and feet. Vitaflex reflexology and the use of gentle massage techniques make this a wonderfully soothing and nurturing treatment. It will help to bring the body into balance and is excellent to boost the immune system.

Skied/biked, hiked, too hard? Let us help speed recovery with essential oils of juniper, eucalyptus, and lemongrass along with sports massage designed to target aching muscles. This will help to reduce levels of lactic acid, increase circulation, restore flexibility, and allow you to get out and do it all again.

Tired/Stressed Body Relaxer (1 hour) $100.00
The primary goal is to relax stressed and tired muscles, complimented with essential oils of lavender, roman chamomile and palma-rosa (a form of rose geranium). Let us help make this stay a relaxing one.

Relaxation Massage (Swedish)
This is the classic form of massage and involves the manipulation of the tissues to help release muscular tension, improve circulation, reduce mental and physical fatigue and alleviate stress. It brings muscular relaxation and an overall feeling of well being.

Therapeutic Massage
Targets sore muscles; excellent for ridding the body of tension, releasing tightness and reducing muscle pain with the purpose to increase flexibility and decrease pain by concentrating on the area of the body that requires special attention.

Aromatherapy Massage

Hydrotherapy
Our specialty Jacuzzi massage tub will provide you with one of the oldest therapies known to man. Water treatments assist in the healing process of almost any ailment, providing you both stimulation and relaxation at the same time. We enhance this treatment by adding your choice of aromatherapy and soothing sounds.

Fernie has lots of activities to offer in the summertime. You can speak with our Front Desk Agents for some fun ideas!

Fly Fishing
Now that the river has broken, enjoy a day out on the river casting the day away with best in local fishing knowledge. With lunch and transportation provided, all you need to do is dream of "The Big One".

Golf
There are currently three golf courses in the Fernie Area.

Horseback Riding
Enjoy a trail ride in the watershed of the Elk River, located in the interior of the Rocky Mountains. Be prepared and keep a watch for large game animals quite often found here in the Elk Valley.

Mountain Biking
Take a fully guided tour and leave the crowds behind and explore the awesome backcountry of the Rockies by mountain bike with full vehicle support, delicious food and experienced guides.

Maps are available for self-guided tours for the beginner to extreme freerider!

Rafting
If you really want to have fun, jump into a raft and let it take you on an ultimate river ride on the Upper Elk river. Inflatable kayaks might be your kind of adventure. Float trips are also available for a gentler water experience.

Hiking
There can't be anything better than reaching a summit of 6000 feet and rewarding yourself with incredible 360 degree views. Hikes are offered to suit all ability levels and ages. Experienced guides can take you where you want to go or you can explore the area on your own.

Outdoor Skateboard Park
Fernie's skateboard park has it all for the skateboard enthusiast. Ramps, jumps, stairs, rails...

Tennis Courts
Tennis courts are located on the ski hill. Racquets available for rental.

Snowmobile
Sled around with Artic Mountain Cat Snowmobiles. Enjoy a safe, scenic snowmobile tour. Packages start at $65/hr.

Snowshoe tours
Explore one of the snowiest places on earth as the story of the Rocky Mountains unfolds with an afternoon Snowshoe Safari or a special Lizard, Ladies and Lunch. Packages start at $25.

Cat Skiing
Enjoy a personally catered day of cat skiing with some of Fernies most recommended guides. Multi day trips with lodging available. Packages start at $250.

Ice Fishing
Spend your day in one of the most beautiful areas Fernie has to offer as you attempt to catch "the big one"

Through our Guest Services you can also book your ski/snowboard lessons for the duration of your stay. For our guests convenience we also sell day passes for Fernie Alpine Resort on site.
